Nissan Cebu to launch all-new X-Trail compact SUV on Oct. 16
NISSAN Cebu Distributors, Inc. (NCDI) has noted a take up in sales and expects a good turnout in volume toward the end of the year, especially with the entry of the all-new X-Trail, Nissan’s version in the compact sports utility vehicle (SUV) category.
The newest version of the X-Trail will be unveiled by Nissan Philippines, Inc. (NPI) in Cebu this Thursday (Oct. 16) evening at the SM City Cebu Northwing.
“We are excited about the coming of the new X-Trail. In fact, quite a number of Cebuanos have already reserved for this vehicle, and this had made us very bullish for the prospects ahead,” Julie Sy Tio, general manager of the Cebu Nissan dealership, said.
The X-Trail is noted in reviews as “more attractive than its predecessors and much of the competition” for its stylish, clever, robust and sleek design.
The compact SUV of Nissan also has an inviting interior, and features innovative and exciting technology.
Tio said they expect more demand for the X-Trail after the launch and especially toward November and just before people will settle for the holidays in December.
“Much more will it be when balikbayans come home for various festivals early next year,” she added.
The Nissan Cebu general manager said the dealership has been pleased with the performance in sales of the Nissan passenger cars, especially the Nissan Sylphy, the former Nissan Bluebird that Nissan launched last April.
The Nissan Almera also attracted most first car owners, while the Nissan Altima remained in demand for the high-end market, she added.
NPI merged Universal Motors Corp. and Nissan Motor Philippines, Inc. last Dec. 12 still in a joint venture with Nissan Motor Co., Ltd., and maintains Nissan Cebu Distributors, Inc. as frontline dealer in Cebu and Bohol.
Nissan Cebu is located at M.L. Quezon Avenue in barangay Maguikay, Mandaue City.
