An 82- year-old grandfather was arrested Thursday evening after he allegedly hacked the common-law husband of his granddaughter in barangay Tayud, Consolacion, Cebu.
Francisco Pepito, widower and sugarcane farmer, allegedly witnessed how his granddaughter abused by her partner, Aljun Dimo, 23, that prompted him to hack the victim using a scythe.
Dimo is wounded in the right wrist and was brought to the hospital.
