HTLand, Vicsal Foundation hand over tiles to school

HTLand, Inc. in partnership with Vicsal Foundation, recently donated wall tiles to the Cadulawan Integrated School in Minglanilla, Cebu.

A total of 500 pieces of wall tiles to be used for finishing the school’s toilets, isolation room, and handwashing area were turned over by Leorelei Ylaya, Marketing Manager of HTLand, Inc., and Jen Gentapa of Vicsal Foundation to Cadulawan Integrated School Principal Bernardo Siarot in simple ceremonies.

Ms. Ylaya explains that the company is extending material assistance to schools as part of its corporate social responsibility program. “It is our hope that this donation will help enhance not only the aesthetics of the school, but promote order, cleanliness and safety for learners, teachers and staff,” Ylaya said.

HTLand, Inc.’s corporate social responsibility programs include assistance to partner-communities, particularly in the areas of environmental rehabilitation and educational development.

Cadulawan is located in the uplands of Minglanilla. Seven hundred fifty students are enlisted in the integrated school’s elementary and high school programs. They are distributed in 21 classrooms.

HTLand, Inc. is the joint venture company of Taft Property Venture Development Corporation and Hongkong Land, Inc. The company is developing Mandani Bay in Mandaue City.
