P30K lost in Argao burglaries

At least P30,000 cash was stolen after three commercial establishments housed in one building were ransacked in barangay Poblacion, Argao town, southern Cebu.

The burglaries were discovered around 8 a.m. yesterday. The perpetrators gained entry by destroying the building’s iron roofing, police said.

Police said taken from Starbite Corp., dealer of motorcycles, was P21,000 cash.

The Sandigan Saving and Credit Cooperative lost P6,000 cash and five ATM cards. Taken from Racal, also a store selling motorycles, were P5,100 cash, three motorcycle batteries worth P6,000 and a digital camera worth P2,600.

PO3 Benjamin Geyrosaga, desk officer of Argao Police Station, the building only had a security guard during daytime.
