One of Cebu’s finest brewers of great-tasting coffee is turning a year older and better. This year, Brown Cup is celebrating its tenth anniversary of serving the metro with richly blended coffee as a homey coffee nook with three branches in Cebu City. It has been a steamy but aromatic journey for Brown Cup by serving Cebuanos their well-loved caffeine fix to get through the day.

In its humble beginnings, Brown Cup started as a coffee shop that served sweet delicacies and pastries as well as breakfast meals along coffee blends such as espresso or macchiato and cold drinks like coffee on ice or frappés. But as years progressed, with customers expressing desire for rice meals along with their coffee, Brown Cup evolved into a hot meal cafe that serves Pinoy rice meals such as Tuna Belly, Breaded Fish Fillet, Pastas and their bestseller Pesto Buttered Porkchop.

This is the café’s step to meet the needs of its market. For Brown Cup Owner Alfonso Tan Jr., it is important for any business to know what its customers want. That is why on its tenth year, Brown Cup is fully shifting from the usual coffee shop that only serves cakes and pastries to a coffee shop that will warm its customers with delectable and satisfying hot meals.

Start your day right, initiate warm meet-ups with friends or spend your free hours with a good book and a cup of coffee coupled with your favorite Pinoy meals at Brown Cup.
