A 22-year-old man was arrested for trying to steal money from the donation box of the San Vicente Ferrer Parish Church in barangay Bungtod, Bogo City last Tuesday evening.
Edgar Masong was turned over to the Bogo City police after he was caught by barangay tanods using a bamboo stick with gum on its end to steal money from the donation box.
He was spotted by a sacristan who reported the theft attempt to the tanods.
