Binay visits market vendors, joins boodle fight

Vice President Jejomar Binay spent his Friday morning walking in the busy downtown market area from Carbon, Pasil and Tabo-an.

People lined up in the streets to shake Binay’s hand and take photos with him. The vice president didn’t show up for yesterday’s Senate blue ribbon committee.

Binay was accompanied by Cebu City Mayor Michael Rama, Vice Mayor Edgar Labella, Buhay Party-list Rep. Lito Atienza and Valenzuela City Rep. Sherwin Gatchalianand some barangay officials.

Binay later dined with vendors and government officials in a boodle fight, a communal meal spread in a long table.
