Two men on a motorcycle yesterday shot dead two men walking along the corner of Colon and Climaco Streets in barangay Pahina Central, Cebu City.
Ernesto Estrera, 29, of Upper Laguerta Street, barangay Lahug, and his unidentified companion died after they were shot several times in the head and body at 1:40 a.m. The victims were rushed to the hospital but they didn’t make it alive.
Police found a toy gun which is a replica of a .9 mm pistol tucked in the waistband of Estrera’s pants. Recovered at the crime scene were 10 empty shells of a .40 caliber and .9 mm pistol.
Police were still investigating the motive of the shooting.
