Autostrada Motore brings Ferrari sports cars to Cebu

ITALIAN luxury sports car manufacturer Ferrari, one of the most famous brands in the automobile world, has set foot in the “Queen City of the South.”
Autostrada Motore, the sole importer and dealer of Ferrari cars in the Philippines, hosted the Ferrari cars’ first road show in the Visayas Region last Saturday at the Ocean Pavilion of Shangri-La’s Mactan Resort and Spa.
Autostrada Motore president and chairman Wellington Soong said the event aims to “bring up close and personal the Ferrari experience to the Cebuanos.”

Among the Ferrari displays was a 458 Spider.

“We really value the Cebuano clientele, and it is our aim to make the Ferrari a part of their lives,” Soong said at the brief media forum during the launching event, which was also attended by Simon Inglefield, the head of sales Asean, Ferrari Far East.
The Ferrari Exclusive Sales was a three-day event that started Nov. 7 and lasted until Nov. 9. Displayed during the event were a Ferrari 458 Spider, Ferrari FF, Ferrari F12 Berlinetta, and a test drive unit of the latest Ferrari model, the California T.
Soong revealed that Cebu is the first to see the California T in the country.
“We launched the California T here in Cebu City because we consider Cebu a very big market for us. After this one, we are eyeing Davao City either in April or May next year,” Soong said.
The three-day event served as the gateway of introducing the official dealership, Autostrada and also the official service center for Ferrari vehicles, Formula Sports Inc., to the elite market of Cebu.
Autostrada brought in their certified service team, who were able to address the concerns of the existing Ferrari owners and provide them with the best and most comprehensive information as well as the latest system updates.
“We will eventually establish our presence here in Cebu City. Right now, we’re having a service caravan in the entire Cebu island and we will be having our sales caravan this week,” said Soong.
The Autostrada Motore showroom is located in Bonifacio Global City. It features a certified Ferrari Service Centre with full access to complete original Ferrari parts, Ferrari diagnostics equipment, special maintenance programs, and Maranello-trained technical staff.
