MANDAUE CITY, Cebu—A few national government officials visited the fire victims of Sitio Paradise in Barangay Looc here on Wednesday, November 30, 2022.

Senators Christopher “Bong” Go, Imee Marcos, Bato dela Rosa, and representatives of other national officials attended the distribution of financial assistance for the victims, who are considered as Individuals in Crisis Situation, at the Mandaue City Cultural and Sports Complex.

They led the distribution together with Mandaue Mayor Jonas Cortes, Vice Mayor Glenn Bercede, Congresswoman Emmarie “Lolypop” Ouano- Dizon, and other city officials.

Cortes said that that the city government will also distribute financial assistance for fire victims on Thursday, December 1.

With the recent fires that happened, Go said he will continue to push the Disaster Resilience Act.
