The last day of 2014 will have cloudy skies, some sunshine and light showers.

“But the heavy rains are gone,” said Oscar Tabada, director for the Visayas of the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Agency (Pagasa).

Tabada said Seniang’s rains  skipped Metro Cebu, but poured volumes of water in in southern Cebu.

Rainfall peaked at 3 a.m. just before the eye of Seniang hit Sibonga town.

At around 6 a.m. Seniang exited Cebu through Dumanjug town and into the Tañon Strait.
