A MASSAGE therapist was shot dead by her boyfriend after she tried to end their relationship Thursday night in barangay Linao, Minglanilla town, southern Cebu.
Jael Pino, 43, was shot in the chest allegedly by Glen ‘Tata’ Vestil, 41, said PO2 Arnel Resente, investigator of the Minglanilla Police Station.
The victim’s sister, Joan Lequigan, told police that the two had a heated argument when the woman tried to break up with the man.
Police said some neighbors saw Vestil fleeing after a gunshot rang out.
The victim was later found slumped on the ground. She was rushed to a hospital where she was declared dead.
