Telco to open Generation 3 store in Cebu
Following the success of the first two “Generation 3” stores in the country in Luzon and Mindanao, Globe Telecom will bring in the new retail concept store to Cebu this year.
They will open six more Gen3 stores this year including one in Cebu, said Joe Caliro, Globe Telecom head of retail transformation and management in a press briefing last Friday.
“We opened the first two Gen3 stores in SM North Edsa, Quezon City and in Limketkai Mall in Cagayan de Oro in December 16 and already these stores are raking in sales,” he said.
Caliro added that the Globe Gen3 stores are home to various lifestyle zones with stories and exciting features for customers to experience and enjoy.
“These zones feature latest trends in product, people and even in business. Various lifestyle vignettes illustrate mobile and broadband technologies as connected solutions—featuring the latest devices, apps, digital connectors gadgets and services that contribute to the total interactive customer experience,” he said.
Citing the competition, he, however, did not disclose where the store is in Cebu or when it will open.
“The goal is to further increase our market share especially in major growth areas like Cebu. We believe the new concept stores will help us achieve that,” he said.
