Three Cebuanas made it to the top 10 of the December 2014 Dentistry Licensure examination.

Faye Jennifer Secuya Cabrera of the Southwestern University (SWU) ranked third in the exams, according to results released last night by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC).

Two more Cebuanas–Cristy Allysa Torres Almonte of the Cebu Doctors University (CDU) landed in the seventh spot while Rose Elaine Sia Li also of CDU shared the 10th spot with Mario Antonio Carpio of the University of the Philippines in Manila.

A total of 725 dentistry graduates took the written phase of the PRC examination in December 2014 but only 268 of them passed.

Another 271 examinees took the practical phase this month and only 257 of them passed. The Board of Dentistry in Manila administered both examinations.

Ben Jay Maxino of the Mindanao Medical Foundation College topped both exams with a rating of 85.43 percent.
