How push bike community started

“I’ve been organizing this kind of race for two years. I started to train for motorcycle races, and then it came out I found another skill me training a kid into a pocket bike, which is a small motorcycle,” Cabahug said.

“Then one day I bought a Push Bike for my daughter and I realized there’s a lot of pushbikers here in Cebu. I posted it on social media then it’s the start for growing the push bike community here in Cebu,” he said.

One of their main objectives in organizing this race is to provide kids an exciting outdoor activity. At the same time, they can get into action and meet new friends instead of being idle, and focusing on playing mobile games.

“Push bike race is for the kids achievements and also outdoor activities for kids. They (will also be) exposed to meet new friends and not always use gadgets. We know that this generation’s kids are exposed to gadgets,” said Cabahug.
