PDSF to hold National Adjudicator Congress in Cebu on Oct. 1
CEBU CITY, Philippines — The Philippine Dance Sport Federation (PDSF) will be holding the National Adjudicator Congress in Cebu on October 1, 2023.
The national-level dancesport event will be held at the Beverly View Events Pavilion in Barangay Lahug, Cebu City and will be hosted by the Dancesport Team Cebu City (DTCC), headed by Crisaldo “Loloi” Rendon, who is also the director of the Dancesport Council of the Philippines and the principal head coach of the DTCC.
More than a hundred licensed adjudicators or dancesport competition judges, along with Department of Education (DepEd) school teachers, coaches, dancesport athletes and enthusiasts are expected to join.

“This event is for the adjudicators and licensed adjudicators. Pero it’s open to enthusiasts, and coaches. We intended it to be an open event so they will learn what judges are looking for in a dancesport competition and it works,” said Rendon.
“At the same time, as a coach you’ll know what the judges are looking for when they’re judging and dancers would also know how the mechanics work. It’s inter-connected, it won’t work that if we only have this event on our own,” he added.
The congress will feature various experts from around the Philippines to provide the participants useful insights on managing a dancesport competition.
