Rep. Chan proposes P2.1 billion budget for different projects in Lapu-Lapu

LAPU-LAPU CITY, Cebu — Lapu-Lapu City Lone District Rep. Cindi King-Chan has proposed P2.1 billion for the implementation of different projects in the city.

“So as of now ang atong budget nga for approval is already, nagkantidad na ug P2.1 billion, para lang na sa lone district sa Lapu-Lapu,” Rep. Chan bared.

She said that among the projects that she would implement next year is the asphalting and concreting of roads in the entire Olango Island.

The congresswoman allocated P91 million for this project.

Aside from this, Rep. Chan will also fund the construction of the two-story barangay hall of Barangay Pangan-an and a two-story school building in Barangay Caohagan.

Chan also urged barangay captains to visit her office and submit their priority projects.

“Atong giawhag ang ubang barangay officials puhon nga moadto gihapon sa atong opisina, mopadayag kung unsa ilang gusto nga projects, aron hatagan ug katumanan. Atong mahatag ang ilang mga yangungo ug unsay kinahanglan sa katawhan,” Rep. Chan added.

The congresswoman is also hoping that her proposed budget would be increased, after its deliberation in Congress.            /rcg
