Zachary Kyle Dosdos fondly known as “Zach” is a four-year-old boy from Cebu City. He was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia last July this year. Three months prior to his diagnosis, he experienced unusual symptoms like fatigue, recurrent fever, and he was unable to walk because of severe joint pains. Because of the alarming symptoms, his parents brought him to a hospital were series of laboratory procedures were performed to determine the underlying cause of his physical condition. Results revealed that he has Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL), a type of cancer of the blood and the most common type of leukemia in children. With early diagnosis and prompt treatment survival rate is high. Zach started his costly chemotherapy immediately after diagnosis. He is now in the induction phase which costs more or less Fifteen Thousand Pesos per week.

Zach is the youngest son of Jeff and Mary. Jeff is working as an office staff earning a minimum wage and is the sole breadwinner of the family. With only Jeff’s income to cover both daily expenses for their family and the medical treatments, they can hardly keep up with the expenses. Mary described her son as “a fighter and a dreamer” and is hoping that one day she can see Zach cancer-free.
The meager resources of the family had been depleted but they never run out of faith that with God above and a community of loving people Zach would sustain his 3-year-chemotherapy. Given the long road for treatment, his parents are humbly pleading for financial assistance from kindhearted individuals to help save the life of their innocent child.
