CEBU TENPIN Bowling Association (Cetba) official Jake Yap was named the best bowler for the month of March after he dominated the six-game series of their monthly tournament held at the SM City Cebu Bowling Center last Saturday.
Yap finished with 1,146 pinfalls and got his best score in the third game, where he downed 266 pins.
Trailing him at second place was Makoto Osada, who accumulated a total of 1,143 pinfalls. Esther Francisco rounding off the top three with 1,133 pinfalls. Fourth and fifth placers were Beth Ngo (1,126) and Ronnan Barredo (1,124), respectively.
All of the winning bowlers of the monthly tournament will vie for the coveted bowler of the year award in December.
