GOV. Hilario Davide III still wants Vice Gov. Agnes Magpale to be his runningmate in the 2016 elections.

“Junjun-Agnes one more time,” Davide told reporters yesterday.

Sought for comment yesterday, Magpale said she will talk with the governor about it.

Three weeks ago, Davide announced his bid to seek reelection in 2016 while Magpale said if she given a choice, she will retire from politics and live a simple private life.

But Magpale earlier said that she is still undecided since the mayors of the 5th district  of Cebu have asked her to stay in the position.

Magpale said when she retires, she has a school and a farm to manage and she wants to do many thing outside politics.

A week ago, Magpale  clarified that her frequent visits in the northern and southern Cebu towns are only because of work and not to campaign for the next elections.

Davide and Magpale of Liberal Party defeated the tandem of former 3rd District congressman Pablo John Garcia and former Danao City vice mayor Ramon “Boboy” Durano IV.
