VM Ungab’s former student seeks PWC’s help

May 12,2015 - 08:51 AM

Cebu Vice Gov. Agnes Magpale yesterday said that the woman, who claimed to have a one-year-old child allegedly of Ronda Vice Mayor Jonah John Ungab, has sought the help of the Provincial Women’s Council (PWC).

“Yes I admit that she texted me asking for the help of (the) PWC. Then I told her to personally come to the PWC office so that we can interview her here,” Magpale said.

The vice governor said the woman identified herself as Ungab’s former law student in Southwestern University in 2013.

She said there will be a process to follow to get their help.

“Heddah (Largo) will be the one to report to me after they interview her. Then we will convene the technical working group and call her so that she can appear at the TWG, which will then decide if we will help her,” Magpale said.

Largo, PWC consultant, said they are still waiting for the woman to appear and give her side  so that we can help her./Correspondent Melissa Q. Cabahug
