Police seized packs of suspected shabu worth P230,000 from a man, who was arrested in a buy-bust operation in barangay T. Padilla, Cebu City last Wednesday night.
Richardo Belino, 56, was arrested by operatives of the City Anti-Illegal Drugs Special Operation Task Force (CAIDSOTF) after a week of surveillance.
Police said the man had just sold two packs of suspected shabu to a poseur-buyer when he was arrested.
The man did not resist arrest. He admitted that he sells illegal drugs.
“Di pa kaayo ko dugay aning negosyoha (I am just a newbie in this business),” said Belino.
Though he admitted he was involved in illegal drug activities, the man denied owning the seized illegal drugs.
But Senior Insp. Eunil Avergonzado, head of the arresting team, insisted that three medium-sized and 25 small packs believed to contain shabu were seized from the man.
