Aboitiz football battles resume Sunday in various venues

ACTION continues tomorrow in the 17th Aboitiz Football Cup in various venues in the city.

At the Cebu City Sports Center (CCSC), men’s open division action takes place as defending champions University of Cebu (UC)-ERCO BRO FC will take on University of San Carlos (USC) at 11:30 a.m.

Prior to that match, Hiroshi FC and MEZUFA FC collide in the opener while  Crazy Horse FC and Cebu Amateur Football Club (CAFC) will lock horns in the second game.

Capuge FC faces Don Bosco United FC at 1:00 p.m. while ERCO BRO GAU FC and University of Southern Philippines-College FC will play the last match at 2 p.m.

At the Sacred Heart School-Ateneo de Cebu (SHS-AdC) in barangay Canduman, Mandaue City, defending champions in the inter-company division ERCO FC will face Mizuki FC in the semifinals at 1 p.m. while Leylam FC and San Miguel FC fight in the other semis pairing.

In the inter-BPO men’s division, Voice Connect and Lexmark will face each other while NCR and Timex collide. Convergys FC and Accenture FC will also  face off.

The women’s side features games between Convergys FC and Accenture FC and Eperformax against United Health Group.

KN Ferraren faces Queen City United FC at the San Roque Parish Football field in Subangdaku in the 38-above division. Other games include DBUFC vs ERFO FC and Hipodromo FC against Echelon FC.
