More than P90,000 worth of gadgets and personal belongings were stolen by two suspected gang members who victimized a lawyer and her Korean friend along Osmeña Boulevard, barangay Sta. Cruz, Cebu City last Saturday afternoon.

Rane Monteclaros, 37,  told the Fuente Police that she lost a Lacoste bag worth P5,000 which contained her wallet with P70,000, mobile phones, important documents and IDs.

Two unidentified men stole the bag from her car which she parked in front of Motortrade where she went in for a transaction.

While inside the establishment, she left her Korean friend inside her Montero. Two men approached the vehicle and told the foreigner that Montesclaros dropped some keys and coins.

The Korean was convinced and left the vehicle to follow Monteclaros. It was then that the men stole the lawyer’s bag.

There were no witnesses and the establishment had no security cameras. The Korean was not able to identify the culprits from any of the photos that police showed her.
