EIGHT police stations in Cebu City are performing poorly in the campaign against illegal drugs.

Every  police station is required to conduct at least two anti-drug operations every month, as ordered by Chief Supt. Prudencio Bañas, director of the Police Regional Office in Central Visayas, in a memorandum.

Station commanders of the Parian, Waterfront,  Mabolo, Pardo, Mambaling, Talamban, Guadalupe and Punta Princessa police stations could face  investigation for their poor performance, said Supt. Romeo Santander, chief of the City Intelligence Branch of the Cebu City police.

Only the Carbon, Sawang Calero and Fuente police stations are doing well with significant number of anti-drug operations made, said Santander.
