A 44-YEAR-OLD high school teacher was killed while driving to school with his 16-year-old son in barangay Pitogo, Consolacion town, northern Cebu.
Felimon Nepumuceno, a teacher at the Compostela National High School, succumbed to gunshot wounds in the head. His son was unharmed.
The motive of the attack is still being investigated, said SPO3 Reynario Patillas, desk officer of the Consolacion Police Station.
Police said the teacher was driving a motorcycle in the national highway with his son when another motorcycle with two men onboard drove alongside them.
As the teacher looked at the other motorists, the backrider shot him in the forehead. The victim’s helmet had five bullet holes, police said.
