1 killed, 2 injured in a truck-tricycle collision

One killed two others injured after a ten-wheeler truck hit a tricycle in San Isidro, Talisay City, Tuesday morning.

Francisco Deparine, 62 years old and Samuel Besavilla, 63 years old were on their way to barangay Dumlog on board a tricycle when a speeding dumptruck hit the side of their tricycle at 4 a.m.

The truck driven by Renato Fernandez also hit a traffic post before it fell on its side.

Respondents rushed the tricycle driver Bernardo Soscano, 53 years old and his passengers to Talisay City District Hospital. However the attending physician declared Deparine dead on arrival said PO3 Christopher Cesa of the Talisay City Police Office.

Fernandez is now detained at the Talisay City Detention Cell pending the filing of a case.
