Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) Sec. Mar Roxas awarded the Seal of Good Local Governance (SGLG) to eight local government units in Cebu.
Among the recipients of the seal of good local governance include Argao, Bantayan, Dalaguete, Dumanjug, Malabuyoc. Medellin, Oslob, and San Remegio towns.
The SGLG is conferred to towns that complied to all three key elements which includes good financial housekeeping, disaster preparedness, and social protection and at least an element from other assessment areas including business friendliness and competitiveness, peace and order, and environmental management.
