Capitol bonuses, new Suroy buses

The Cebu Provincial Board (PB) approved the 4th supplemental budget of the year worth P449 million in yesterday’s session.

About 1,550 regular and casual Capitol employees including elected officials will receive their Collective Negotiation Agreement (CNA) bonus provided in a P23 million outlay.

The bonus will be given on Thursday, August 6, during the founding day anniversary of Cebu Province.

The province will also buy 11  additional Suroy-Suroy tourist coaster buses at P3 million each or P33 million. A retirement package of P15 million for outgoing employees is also included in the supplemental budget.

About P293.6 million will go to the realignment of the Cebu South Bust Terminal (CSBT), P19.3 million for training and incentives for nurses, P56.5 million for 16 provincial and district hospitals and CSBT operations.
