PUJs start reroute scheme today for Apec
Cebu City Transportation Office rerouted public utility vehicles starting today to decongest the roads where Apec delegates will pass.
CCTO operations chief Joy Tumulak said they decided to cut short the PUJ trips to avoid congestion around SM City Cebu, including S. Osmeña and Pope John Paul II Avenue (former J. Luna Avenue). The affected public transport include the PUJs with route numbers 03Q, 06H, 04L, 04M, 09J, 10H, 08F, 01G, 12E, 12G, 12I, and 12J.
Tumulak said they had to adjust the earlier planned re-routing scheme based on the security plans of the Apec Organizing Committee.
