A MAN was arrested for allegedly cultivating marijuana in his backyard in Compostela town, northern Cebu.
Three marijuana stalks were uprooted in front of the house of Forthin Cacoy in barangay Magay on Thursday.
Insp. Romeo Caacoy said police rushed to the man’s house in sitio Bayabas after a resident tipped them off that Magay was seen planting marijuana.
Cacoy denied that he was the planter. Despite the denial, police filed charges against him.
