A drunk 36-year-old man who turned violent was stabbed and seriously wounded by his neighbor in Pinamungajan, midwest Cebu, on Sunday afternoon.
Police said Redentor Juros Bocago became unruly and threw stones at the house of his neighbor Ahmed Nelmida.
When Nelmida and his wife Mafel Joy went out to pacify Bacago, who was drunk at that time, the man grabbed the woman’s hair and said he was going to kill her husband.
Nelmida pushed the drunk neighbor away but Bocago pulled out a knife and tried to stab him.
Police said the two grappled for the knife and Bocago was stabbed several times.
Nelmida surrendered to the police while Bocago is confined in Vicente Sotto Memorial Medical Center.
