Charm rules Press Freedom volleyball

Cebu City Hall beat reporters yesterday bagged the  top prize in the annual press freedom volleyball tournament.
After  losing the first two out of five sets, the City Hall Association of Reporters in Media (Charm) managed to rebound and claim victory over  the Defense PNP Press Corpse (DEPP).

Led by their coach Chris Ligan of CCTN and Lesley  Caminade-Vestil of TV 5, Charm    members with their star players Niño Libona of TV 5 and Philip Cerojano of Sun.Star Superbalita won the last three sets of the game.

It was a sweet victory for  Charm whose members never won a championship game before.

The triumph is shared with teammates Ferdie Balbuena of TV5, Kristine Campaña of The Freeman, Vanessa Lucero of Cebu Daily News (CDN),  Jean Marvette Demecillo of The Freeman,  Princess Dawn Felicitas of SunStar Cebu,  Nestle Semilla of CDN,  Razel Cuizon of SunStar,  Santino Bunachita of CDN,  May Miasco of The Freeman, and Sheriza Uy of Banat.

The tournament was mounted by the Newsmen Basketball Assocation of Cebu and sponsored by Cebu Landmasters Inc. and Taihheiyo Cement Corp.
