A 23-year-old man was repeatedly stabbed by his neighbor in barangay San Roque, Cebu City last Friday night.
Jason Demata Buanjug survived the attack with stab wounds in the back, elbow, chin, right arm and hand.
The victim was treated at Cebu City Medical Center.
The alleged attacker, Warlito Espino Salas, 29, was arrested in a hot-pursuit operation.
An 11-inch knife was recovered from his possession, police said.
Police are still investigating the motive behind the attack.
Salas is detained in the Cebu City Police Station 3 pending the filing of frustrated murder charges against him.
