Free baptism, mass wedding to mark Calungsod canonization
The Chapel of San Pedro Calungsod in SM Seaside Complex, South Road Properties, will celebrate the third year anniversary of the canonization of the Visayan saint, San Pedro Calungsod.
Novena masses are scheduled at 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. from October 12 to 20, with a solemn procession at 7 p.m. on Oct. 20.
On October 21, fiesta day, a Pontifical Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m., followed by fiesta masses at 4 p.m. and 6 p.m.
A mini concert of different choirs will happen on Oct. 10 at 7:30 p.m. Ticket is priced at P300. On Oct. 11 at 3 p.m., there will be a free baptism dubbed “Bunyag Calungsod.” A benefit dinner called
“Dinner with San Pedro Calungsod” will be held at 7 p.m. at the Multi-Purpose Hall of the chapel. Ticket is priced at P1,000.
The San Pedro Calungsod chapel is also inviting those underprivileged couples to a free mass wedding on Oct. 17 at 10 a.m.
