Winston picks Soon-Ruiz as runningmate

Gubernatorial candidate Winston Garcia has chosen Nerissa Soon-Ruiz as his runningmate for the 2016 elections.

Garcia made the announcement earlier this afternoon during the One Cebu general assembly at White Gold House in Cebu City.

“She is a doctor, one who can keep tabs on our programs on health, and a good politician. The vice governor has experience in legislation and is from the North,” Garcia said.

The Garcia-Ruiz tandem will be known as “WIN-NER”.

After Winston made the announcement, Soon-Ruiz went up on stage.

“Thank you for your trust and confidence in me. I will be supporting him (Winston) all the way,” Soon-Ruiz said.
