THE 1994 Bulldogs and the 2004 Rebels got off to fast starts in the University of San Carlos North Alumni Basketball Conference Sinulog Cup after they tallied two victories each over the weekend in the games that were held at the USC North Campus gym along Mango Avenue.
The 1994 Bulldogs took a chomp off the 1995 Pirates, 71-68, before coming back the next day to beat the USC North Campus faculty, 81-77, for their second win in a row in Division 2.
In other results in the same division, reigning MVP AJ San Juan and the rest of the 2001 DosMilUno-Lite Shipping got past the 2002 Legendary Lions, 67-64.
San Juan charted 21 points to help his squad get past the Lions, who got 26 from former two-time Cesafi MVP Enrico Llanto.
