TELECOMMUNICATIONS giant Philippine Long Distance Telephone Co., Inc. yesterday launched the first Pay Express Van in Cebu.

The van will travel between PLDT’s five business offices in Cebu, namely PLDT Jones, Mabolo, Mandaue, Mactan and Talisay to provide another bill payment option for clients especially during peak periods.

Jonel Ladaban, PLDT vice president and head of Credit and Collection Management Group, said the van will be stationed at a PLDT business office for 3 to 5 days before the billing deadline in the area.

It will operate from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and will offer the same payment services offered in PLDT’s Sales and Services Centers.

PLDT HOME, Alpha and SME clients can also pay at the van. This will cut the queues in the centers and allow the company to serve more clients at a faster rate.
