A FEEDING program for the children on C. Padilla Street, Cebu City highlighted the launching of a new guardians group, called the Guardians Brotherhood for Almighty and Service International Inc. (GBASII) last Oct. 25.

Group members served porridge “champorado” to the children during the feeding program with the theme “Serving the Most High and the helpless.”

The celebration started with a motorcade at 6:30 a.m., followed by the registration of GBASII members and the program proper.

Bro. Juvelle Romanillos recited a prayer, while PO1 Mike Cabaral rendered a song to open the program.

GBASII founder Raul Carin delivered a welcome address, while Bro. Alfred Placencia narrated the group’s history and retired Lt. Col. Mario Jose Arias (PA) led the recitation of their  oath of allegiance. Cebu City Mayor Michael Rama was the event’s guest speaker.

The event was also attended by Cebu City Traffic Office chief Rey Gealon and P/Chief Insp. Michaelangelo Beltran, PGII Grand Supremo Christopher Ruiz and Bro. Trifon Morales, who served as emcee.
