The public were advised to wear lightweight clothes and bring umbrellas as the weather during ‘All Souls’ Day’ and ‘All Saints’ Day’ is expected to be partly cloudy to sunny.

Alfredo Quiblat, Mactan station chief of the state weather bureau Pagasa, said they expect temperature to hit 32 Celsius between 2 to 3 p.m on both days.

“There will be forty percent chances of rains especially in the evening due to localized thunderstorms,” Quiblat said.

He said those who will stay at the cemetery parks especially at night should bring their own tents.

Regional Director Jaime Bernadas of the Department of Health (DOH-7) encouraged the public to bring bottled water to avoid dehydration.

Bernadas said children and the elderly should stay indoors especially those with illnesses as overly warm temperatures can cause heat stroke.
