Pinoy riders manage podium finishes

7-ELEVEN Road Bike Philippines riders Mark John Lexer Galedo and Marcelo Felipe finished second and third, respectively, in the final stage of the Tour of Borneo 2015 last Wednesday in Malaysia.

Galedo rebounded from his seventh place finish in the penultimate stage by completing the final race in 5:19:22, just five seconds behind the champion Peter Pruus of Estonia, who dialed in 5:19:17.

Marcelo Felipe capped off his solid run in Borneo with a third place finish, ending the race in 5:20:31.

The 25-year old Felipe have been turning heads in the competition after he finished fourth in their last game.

Other 7-Eleven riders who made it into the top ten were Boots Ryan Cayubit (6th) and 2012 Le Tour De Filipinas winner Jonipher Ravina (8th).
