THE DEFENDING champions 1985 Legends once again asserted their dominance as they ran roughshod over the 1989 Spartans, 95-57, in Division 1 of the University of San Carlos North Alumni Basketball Conference Sinulog Homecoming Cup over the weekend at the USC North Gym.

The usual suspects for the Legends came up big as former pro Lou Regidor torched the nets for 28 points while his longtime running mate Bing Pua added 25 in the lopsided match.

The win was the Legends’ third in as many games.

Meanwhile, two other squads remained unbeaten in the same division as the 1988 Barakos and the 1992 Barakos throttled their respective opponents.

The Barakos, behind the 32-point explosion of Edmund Odulio, crushed the 1984 Knights, 78-64, while the Little Rascals outlasted the 1990 Titans, 69-63.

The Barakos and the Little Rascals boast  identical 2-0 win-loss cards.
