Two men on a motorcycle shot dead a member of Toledo City’s Civil Security Unit at 7 a.m. yesterday in barangay Poblacion, Toledo City in western Cebu.
Leonardo Lomucso, 58, of barangay Gaas, Balamban town, died after he was shot in the neck with a .45 caliber pistol.
Police said Lomucso was heading for breakfast in a nearby eatery with his wife when the assailant wearing a full-face helmet attacked him.
Police, in a follow up operation, arrested the man driving the motorcycle but the gunman escaped on another motorcycle.
