Cebu Jr Dragons vie in Asian Rugby 10s

THE Cebu Junior Dragons will aim to set the roof on fire as they compete in the U-18 tournament of the Asian Juniors Rugby 10s Manila on Nov. 21 to 22 at the Southern Plains Subdivision Clubhouse in Calamba, Laguna.

Cebu Dragons will open their campaign on Saturday against Faith Academy Philippines at 11:54 a.m., then battle the British School Manila (BSM) two hours later before taking on Brent International School of Manila in their penultimate game at 3:24 p.m.

The Dragons will end their day by facing powerhouse Alabang Eagles in the afternoon’s final game.

Aside from the Junior Dragons, four teams are also seeing action in the U-18 tournament including the Alabang Eagles, Brent International School, Faith Academy Philippines and BSM.

The tournament will have four divisions namely the U-12 with three teams, U-14 with four competitors, U-16 with six squads and the U-18 with four teams.

The top two teams in each division after the round-robin eliminations will earn an outright semifinals berth. Finals will begin at 1 p.m. on Sunday.
