Pinoy Pride 34 contenders to hold public workout at SM City Cebu today

STALWARTS of ALA Boxing Gym are in the final stages of their grueling training for the tough battle awaiting them on Nov. 28 in the much awaited Pinoy Pride 34: Back With A Vengeance.

Today, Cebuano boxing fans can check out the status of the boxers’ preparation as ALA Promotions International arranged another public workout this afternoon at the SM City Cebu Activity Center.

This will be the second public workout for ALA Boxing Gym stalwarts Milan “El Metodico” Melindo, “King” Arthur Villanueva, amateur standout Kevin “KJ” Cataraja, AJ “Bazooka” Banal and Rocky “The Road Warrior” Fuentes  as they also had one last Sunday at the ALA Boxing Gym in Pueblo Verde in Lapu-Lapu City.

Pinoy Pride 34: Back with a Vengeance of ALA Promotions International will be held Nov. 28 at the Hoops Dome in Lapu-Lapu City.

Melindo will face Carlos Fontes of Mexico for the World Boxing Organization (WBO) International light flyweight strap in the main event while  Villanueva will trade punches with Victor “Spock”

Mendez for the vacant World Boxing Council (WBC) super International flyweight belt in the co-main event.

Banal and Fuentes will be fighting Tanzania’s Emelio Norfat and Afrizal Tamboresi of Indonesia, respectively, in the undercard.

Cataraja will take on Indonesian journey man Faris Nenggo also in the undercard.

The opponents of the featured ALA Boxing gym boxers are expected to arrive this Sunday while the rest will arrive next week.
