A MAN was found dead in Naga City, southern Cebu.
No one from barangay Lutac was able to identify the fatality, who was found slumped on the ground with a gunshot wound in the forehead.
Residents said a gunshot was heard in the area around 3 a.m. yesterday.
Police recovered an empty shell of a .45 caliber pistol on the ground.
PO2 Jonathan Largo said it was possible that the man was killed somewhere else and dumped in the area.
Police are checking reports of a man who was chased and shot by the owner of a fighting cock he stole in the vicinity.
The fatality was in his 20s and about five-foot-four in height.
