CEBU City Mayor Michael Rama formed a committee to spearhead the city’s preparations for the December 10 opening of Robinsons Galleria Cebu at the North Reclamation Area.
The committee will be headed by City Engr. Jose Marie Poblete, Cebu City Traffic Office executive director Rey Gealon and CCTO operations chief Jonathan Tumulak, among others.
Rama said he doesn’t want a repeat of the traffic congestion experienced during the November 27 opening of SM Seaside City at the South Road Properties (SRP).
The mayor will leave for Paris today but will return to attend Robinsons Galleria Cebu opening.
