Mandaue City  government may postpone its  Dec. 15 implementation of bike lanes because of upcoming road projects in the city.

Mandaue City Planning Officer  Florentino Nimor said  this is a concern because of  projects of Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) 7 which include repair of the old Mandaue-Mactan bridge this month.

Also ahead are upgrading raodwork  A. Soriano Ave. to A.C. Cortes St.

With all these activities, Nimor said  traffic flow may  be a a major problem if they push ahead with fully using  bike lanes in the city.
