CEBUANO junior netter Arthur Craig Pantino registered successive victories to advance to the final round of the 6th PSC-Philta National Age Group Tennis Championships yesterday at the Rizal Memorial Tennis Center.
The 14-year-old Pantino, a product of the University of San Carlos Warriors, chalked up a 5-3, 4-1 triumph against Justin Suarez in the semis.
In the earlier rounds, Pantino put up a dominating performance, beating the likes of Jules Lazaro, 4-1, 4-1, and Stephan Lhuillier, 4-1, 4-3.
With the victory, a tough task awaits Pantino as he is set to take on third-ranked Jake Martin today in the Finals.
