A 29-YEAR-OLD man was arrested after he was caught with firearms at a checkpoint in barangay Pajo, Lapu-Lapu City last Monday night.
Police said they seized an unlicensed Ingram sub-machine gun from Abel Rafaeles, a resident of barangay Gun-ob.
A plastic pack believed to contain shabu was also seized from the man, police said.
Police said the man also failed to present the registration papers of the Yamaha Mio motorbike he was driving during the arrest.
Rafaeles was detained at the Lapu-Lapu City Police Office Headquarters pending the filing of charges against him, said police.
